About the role
You will be responsible for preparation, review and implementation of procurement related procedures and guidelines ensuring compliance with legislation and commitment to sustainability and community objectives.
About you
To be successful in this role you will bring:
Relevantqualifications in Procurement, Contract Management, Law, Business, Commerce orequivalent.
Relevantexperience in purchasing and procurement within a regulated environment.
Experienceworking with guidelines, policies, and practices of good governance.
High-leveladministrative skills, including preparing reports, business communications,managing workflows/schedules, and related software systems.
Demonstratedability to manage time, plan and set priorities, and organise one's own work toachieve individual and business unit objectives within agreed timeframes.
Well-developedinterpersonal, teamwork and customer relationship skills, and the ability to coachand encourage participation and support from a diverse range of people, bothinternally and externally.
Abilityto effectively use computer software applications including procurement andfinance applications, corporate information management systems and MS Office.
Excellentwritten and verbal communication skills and the ability to liaise with a widecross section of the community and organisation in a professional and succinctmanner.
Experiencecoordinating and evaluating complex tenders as well as developing, reviewingand editing a wide range of tender documents.
High level analytical and effective reportingskills necessary for matters relating to the position.
