Job Description
As a Carer, you'll support residents with warmth, dignity and compassion, helping them live well every day.
You'll build meaningful relationships, assist with daily living tasks, and contribute to a safe, supportive and person-centred workplace.
Your responsibilities will include:
Building genuine, trusting connections with residents and understanding their individual needs
Assisting with personal care including showering, grooming, meals and mobility
Supporting residents in activities that bring joy, purpose and social engagement
Encouraging independence and choice while upholding dignity
Communicating changes or concerns to supervisors to ensure care plans remain accurate

Successful candidates will be subject to a variety of background checks including a national criminal history check, reference checks and, if applicable, WWCC, NDIS Worker Screening Check and a pre-employment medical.

About the Candidate
You're someone who brings compassion, patience and a genuine desire to support older people.
You'll thrive in this role if you have the heart for care and the practical skills to deliver it safely and professionally.
A Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent, or be actively working toward completion
Experience in residential aged care or a similar care environment
Competence in personal care tasks including showering, grooming, mobility and manual handling
A strong commitment to person-centred care, dignity and resident choice
Good communication skills and the ability to build warm, trusting relationships
The ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team
Reliability and flexibility, with availability to meet the roster requirements
Basic computer skills to complete documentation and follow care plans
A positive, respectful and empathetic approach to residents, families and colleagues

Availability for both AM and PM shifts
Weekday and weekend availability
Flexibility to pick up shifts as needed to support resident care and team coverage
