About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Casual Level 2 Prep Kitchen Hand to join our small team. This is a hands-on role focused on creating the magic behind our flavours. You will go beyond basic cleaning to actively assist in making our daily batches.
Shift Windows & Flexibility
Start Times:
Vary between
6:00 AM and 9:00 AM
.
Finish Times:
Vary between
2:00 PM and 5:00 PM
.
Flexibility:
You must be willing and available to stay longer if production demands require it on the day.
Key Responsibilities
Filling Prep:
Prepare, mix, and portion our signature doughnut fillings and toppings.
Doughnut Cooking:
Assist with proofing, frying and rolling doughnuts to golden perfection under direction.
Station Setup:
Ensure ingredients are measured, organized, and stocked for production.
Kitchen Cleanliness:
Maintain a clean workspace,



sanitise equipment, and handle dishwashing as needed.
Food Safety:
Strictly follow safe food handling, hygiene, and kitchen safety protocols
Skills and Experience
Kitchen Experience:
6-12 months in a commercial kitchen, bakery, or cafe prep role is preferred.
Schedule Flexibility:
Ability to adapt to varying start/finish times and reliable transport for 6:00 AM starts.
Attentiveness:
Great attention to detail when following recipes, measuring ingredients, and monitoring cook times.
Physical Stamina:
Comfortable standing for long periods and managing active kitchen tasks.

Enthusiastic about learning the art of doughnut making as our business expands.
