About the Role As Bar Attendant (Supervisor) at MOM Darwin, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the bar while driving sales, maintaining high standards, and creating an electric, fun workplace for our guests.
This is a long-term, full time position suited to someone ready to commit and grow with the business.
Key Responsibilities Manage all bar operations Handle stock efficiently to minimise waste and maximise profitability Ordering, invoicing, stocktake, and ongoing stock monitoring control Recruit, train, and lead bar staff Making, serving, and marketing a range of coffee drinks, including lattes, cappuccinos, and other espresso-based drinks, as well as mixed drinks, bottled, canned, and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages Cleaning and upkeep of espresso equipment, coffee-making spaces,



and bar service sections Operating cash registers and obtaining payment for sales Promoting goods and services Cleaning glasses and setting up glasses and bottles Attaching supply lines and tapping kegs restocking refrigerators, shelves, and drink dispensers Offering light nibbles Coffee selection and grinding Organise weekly events, entertainment, and DJs Deliver exceptional customer service and create a fun, welcoming vibe Operate and manage POS systems with confidence Cash handling and reconciliation Develop weekly specials and promotions to drive sales and move stock Achieve and exceed sales KPIs Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and compliance Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers About You Minimum 2+ years experience in Bar Management or similar role Experience in high-volume, nightlife, or backpacker venues highly regarded Strong organisational and multitasking skills Proven leadership and team development experience Confident with stock control, ordering, and financial processes Outgoing, energetic personality with a passion for hospitality Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends Strong communication skills and a hands-on approach What We Offer Long-term opportunity with a growing and expanding venue Fun, social, and energetic team environment Autonomy to bring your ideas to life with events and promotions Career progression as MOM Darwin continues to grow
