The Schuylkill Valley School District has an anticipated vacancy for a Special Education Long-Term Substitute Teacher at the Middle School, effective with the start of the second semester of the ******* school year (January 15, ****) through the first semester of the ******* school year (January, ****).
This position is responsible for assisting in the implementation of the district's special education team program.
Must have experience in learning support, instructional adaptation, effective interaction patterns, student discipline/behavior management, providing assistance for at-risk children, and assisting regular classroom teachers in meeting goals set by the special education team.
Special Education PA teacher certification, demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with others and acceptable record of attendance are required.Minority candidates are encouraged to apply.
