Job Overview Are you an experienced hospitality leader looking for the opportunity to take ownership of an established and respected venue?
We are seeking a hands-on General Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of a well-established hospitality and entertainment venue in Horsham.
This is a broad leadership role overseeing gaming, food and beverage, functions, events, and commercial operations while working closely with the Board to deliver long-term growth and outstanding customer experiences.

The Opportunity Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, you will be responsible for the overall performance of the venue, leading a diverse team while driving operational excellence, financial performance, compliance, and business development.
This role offers a high level of autonomy and is suited to an experienced venue leader who enjoys balancing strategic planning with being visible and engaged in daily operations.
Key Responsibilities Lead all day-to-day venue operations across gaming, TAB, bar, bistro, functions and events Develop and implement business plans to drive revenue growth and operational performance Lead, mentor and develop department managers and venue staff Manage budgets, financial reporting, forecasting and cost control Present monthly reports and business updates to the Board Ensure compliance with all gaming, liquor licensing, workplace health and safety, and regulatory requirements Oversee supplier relationships,



purchasing and contract management Drive marketing initiatives, promotions and community engagement Maximise function and event opportunities Maintain exceptional presentation, service standards and customer satisfaction Build solid relationships with local businesses, community groups and industry stakeholders About You To be successful, you will bring: Previous experience as a General Manager, Venue Manager, Club Manager or Operations Manager within hospitality Strong financial and commercial management experience, including budgeting and reporting Experience leading multi-department hospitality operations Outstanding leadership and people management skills A proactive, commercially minded approach to growing revenue and improving performance Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities The ability to work collaboratively with a Board or ownership group Current RSA Current Victorian Gaming Industry Employee Licence (or ability to obtain) Level 2 First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain) Why Apply?
