As a
Community Support Worker

WhatYou'llDo
Provide person‐centredsupport to customers in thecommunity
Support customers to engage in social activities (coffee catch‐ups, shopping, classes,moviesand appointments)
Encourage independence,choiceand social connection
Assistwith daily living tasks, including personal care, meal planning,hydrotherapyand light domestic duties
Advocate for customers' rights,needsand goals
Transport customers using wheelchair‐accessible vans and your own vehicle, asrequired
Maintainaccurateandtimelyprogress notes
About You
Certificate III/IV in Disability, AgedCareor a related field(desirable)
Minimum
6 months experience
in a caring role in the disability sector
Comfortable providing all aspects of daily living andpersonal care to all genders,including hydrotherapy support
Able to work across varied shifts and locationsindependentlywith customers
Confident drivingwheelchair‐accessible vansand transporting customers using yourown vehicle
A transparent, adaptable communicator with a strong person‐centredapproach
Experience supporting people with mental health needs,
challengingbehavioursand de‐escalation strategies(desirable, not essential)
Australian work rightsrequired(no visa sponsorship available)
You will need to hold, or be willing to obtain:
National Police Clearance
NDIS Worker Screening Check
First Aid
Valid Driver'sLicence
Comprehensive car insurance
Availability Requirements
To support your flexibility and help grow your hours, we require availability across
at least
three
weekdays, with
full-day availability
between
8:00am and 6:00pm
.
This enables consistent customer scheduling andadditionalhours as they become available.
