This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled culinary qualified to contribute to abusy and established hospitality venue and play an important role in maintaining our kitchenoperations and food standards.
Key Duties and Responsibilities •Planning menus in consultation with management.
•Estimating food and labour costs and assisting with budget control.
•Ordering, receiving and managing food supplies and kitchen inventory.
•Monitoring the quality of dishes at all stages of preparation, cooking and presentation.
•Discussing food preparation issues with Managers, Dietitians, and kitchen and waiting staff.
•Demonstrating cooking techniques and advising staff on cooking procedures and food preparation.
•Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes to a high standard.
•Ensuring compliance with food safety,



hygiene, and workplace health and safety regulations.
•Explaining and enforcing hygiene and sanitation standards within the kitchen.
•Assisting with the recruitment, selection and training of kitchen staff as required.
•Supervising kitchen operations and maintaining efficient workflow.
•Freezing, preserving and storing food items in accordance with food safety requirements.
•Maintaining consistency in food quality, portion control and presentation standards.
Skills and Experience Required •Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
•Excellent organisational and time management skills.
•Sound understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
•Robust communication and teamwork abilities.
