The Position This is a clinically focused role suited to a Urologist looking to work across a wide scope of practice within a busy and well-supported department.
You will provide specialist urology services across inpatient, outpatient and operative settings, managing both elective and emergency presentations.
The role includes participation in on-call services, multidisciplinary care, and collaboration with surgical and medical teams to ensure high standards of patient outcomes.
Alongside clinical duties, you will contribute to teaching and supervision of junior medical staff and trainees,
while supporting quality improvement and patient safety activities within the department.
There is also chance to develop subspecialty interests and participate in newer service areas as they expand, including robotic surgery and transplant pathways.

The facility includes intensive care, advanced imaging, oncology and a comprehensive surgical program.
The urology unit is a busy service with a strong procedural workload, supported by a multidisciplinary team of consultants, trainees and junior doctors.
It is well-equipped for open and minimally invasive surgery, with access to robotic-assisted procedures and ongoing service expansion.
