This is a diverse, hands-on role working closely with builders, tradies, and residential customers in a busy trade supply environment.
What's on Offer ASAP Start Monday to Friday day shift Temp-to-perm opportunity $40 per hour + penalties Supportive team environment Ongoing training and development Opportunity to work with a wide range of building materials, hardware, and trade products About the Role Assisting builders, tradespeople, and residential customers at the trade counter and over the phone Providing product advice and recommendations across hardware, building supplies, and construction materials Processing sales, orders, quotes, and customer enquiries accurately Building strong relationships with regular trade and retail customers Coordinating customer orders with the yard, warehouse, and delivery drivers Assisting with stock control, inventory checks,



and product replenishment Maintaining the presentation of the showroom, trade counter, and display areas Supporting the wider team with day-to-day operational duties as required Ensuring customers receive prompt, professional, and knowledgeable service What You'll Need Previous customer service, sales, or trade counter experience within hardware, construction, building supplies, or trade environments Solid knowledge of hardware products, tools, timber, building materials, or related construction products Experience processing sales orders, quotes, and customer enquiries Competent computer skills and experience using POS or sales systems Strong communication and relationship-building skills High attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment A proactive, hands-on attitude and willingness to support different areas of the business Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player APPLY NOW!
