Full-Time Counsellor / Psychologist Manning Bunbury, WA Anderson Neurological and Developmental Services is a growing multidisciplinary allied health practice committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care to children, adolescents and adults living with neurological disabilities and developmental conditions.
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Counsellor or Psychologist to join our team on a full time basis, working across our Manning and Bunbury clinics .
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a supportive and collaborative team dedicated to helping clients improve their wellbeing, resilience and quality of life.
About the Role As a Counsellor/Psychologist, you will provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals and families experiencing challenges associated with neurological disability, developmental disorders and related mental health concerns.You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic, client-centred care while contributing to positive outcomes for clients across the lifespan.
Key Responsibilities Deliver individual and family counselling services.
Conduct psychological assessments where appropriate.
Develop and implement personalised treatment plans.
Support clients with neurological disabilities, developmental conditions and associated emotional or behavioural challenges.
Collaborate with occupational therapists, speech pathologists, physiotherapists and other allied health professionals.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and reports.
Liaise with referrers, carers, support coordinators and external agencies.
About You We are looking for someone who is: Passionate about supporting people living with neurological and developmental conditions.
A qualified Counsellor or Registered Psychologist .
An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
Able to work independently while contributing to a multidisciplinary team.
Organised, professional and committed to delivering high-quality care.
Empathetic, adaptable and client-focused.
Essential Requirements Relevant tertiary qualification in Counselling or Psychology.
Eligibility for professional registration or membership relevant to your profession.
Current Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain).
National Police Clearance.
Current Australian Driver's Licence.
Full Australian working rights.
