The Role The Consultant Geriatrician will play a key leadership role in delivering high-quality geriatric and general medical care across inpatient, outpatient and community settings.
Key responsibilities include: Acute and subacute inpatient care Comprehensive geriatric assessment and management Community and outreach geriatric services Rehabilitation and aged care support Ward rounds and multidisciplinary team leadership Better at Home and Rehabilitation in the Home programs Outpatient clinics Teaching and supervision of junior medical staff Participation in service development and quality improvement activities The role offers the opportunity to shape and further develop geriatric services within a growing regional health service.
