Project Engineer – Civil (Roads Utilities) Location: Sydney, NSW Employment Type: Short-Term Contract We are currently seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join a leading civil contractor delivering road and utilities infrastructure projects across Sydney.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on major infrastructure projects within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities Coordinate and manage day-to-day construction activities on road and utilities projects.
Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site resources to ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
Prepare and maintain project documentation, including QA/QC records, ITPs, RFIs, NCRs, and progress reports.
Monitor project programmes, costs, and productivity while identifying and resolving project risks.
Liaise with clients, consultants, local authorities, and utility providers.
Ensure compliance with TfNSW, Sydney Water, WHS, and environmental requirements.
About You Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or equivalent.




Demonstrated experience as a Project Engineer on road and utilities infrastructure projects.
Strong knowledge of TfNSW and/or Sydney Water standards and specifications.
Experience managing subcontractors, procurement, QA/QC, and project reporting.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Full Australian working rights.
