About the role We are seeking a skilled and experienced Telecommunications Network Planner to join our team.
The ideal candidate will possess solid technical expertise, excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills, and a high level of attention to detail.
This position requires the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team, while maintaining flexibility to work additional hours when required to meet business needs.
Role and Responsibilities Provide specialist technical support and advice, while monitoring the operation, performance, and reliability of telecommunications networks and related equipment.
Work collaboratively with vendors, suppliers, contractors, and external service providers to coordinate network services and monitor compliance with contractual obligations and service standards.
Prepare and maintain detailed records of equipment, inventories, components, and system status, while ensuring telecommunications policies, procedures, guidelines, regulatory requirements, and quality standards are accurately documented.
Support the ongoing operation of telecommunications networks by assisting with network design, performance optimisation, fault identification, troubleshooting, repairs, and the resolution of technical issues.
Perform the installation, servicing, maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repair of microwave, telemetry, multiplexing,



satellite, radio, and other electromagnetic communication systems.
Design and coordinate the planning of customer access telecommunications network infrastructure to support current and future service requirements.
Develop and implement plans for the expansion, improvement, and enhancement of customer access telecommunications network infrastructure.
Configure and integrate telecommunications network technologies with computer hardware, software applications, desktop systems, peripherals, databases, and operating systems.

Skills and experience Must have an experience of more than 1 year working as a Telecommunications Network Planner Applicants should hold a relevant qualification, which is highly preferred.
