Locum solo sonographer required for a well-supported regional role.
Monday – Friday hours.
Travel, car, and accommodation provided.
Locum Sonographer Location – work across 2 x locations Glen Innes and Tenterfield Hospitals, NSW Hourly pay rate – Locum payrates on offer.
Rates DOE Date and Duration: Immediate start until 25th July.
Job Summary This is a solo sonographer role based at a site without an on-site radiologist, requiring the ability to work independently.
You'll need a solid general ultrasound skillset, with a focus on obstetrics and musculoskeletal imaging.
The site operates a Mindray Resona scanner, and standard hours are 9am–5pm.
Travel, accommodation, and car hire are fully provided, making it a well-supported regional locum chance.
Skills and experience Demonstrated experience working independently in a sole sonographer setting, with confidence in making autonomous clinical decisions.
Current ASAR registration and compliance with all relevant accreditation standards.
Proficiency in general ultrasound, with strong skills in obstetric and musculoskeletal imaging.
Experience using Mindray Resona or similar ultrasound systems, with the ability to adapt quickly to new equipment.
Excellent communication and reporting skills,



with the ability to liaise effectively in the absence of an on-site radiologist.
