About the company/role: Well-known food/beverage manufacturing company Located in the northern suburbs of Hobart, Tasmania Seeking a Laboratory Technician to join the Quality team 4 weeks casual contract (covering leave in the team) ASAP start Full training provided, casual hours Duties, but not limited to: Collection of samples Chemical and microbiological testing of samples Sensory testing of samples Calibration of instruments Assisting in production issues and internal audits Ensuring GMP standards General housekeeping Skills/experience: Bachelor of Science (majoring in Food Science, Chemistry or closely related discipline) Previous laboratory or dairy experience would be highly advantageous Reliable and good work ethic Great attention to detail Excellent communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced setting Apply!
