About the Role We are seeking a patient, empathetic, and reliable Disability Support Worker to provide one-on-one support to a female participant in Truganina.
This is a unique opportunity to build a meaningful connection with the same participant, providing consistent care in her home and community.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Personal Care: Assisting with daily hygiene, showering, dressing, grooming, and toileting Mealtime Support: Meal preparation and assistance with eating and drinking Community Access: Supporting the participant to attend social outings, appointments, and community activities Household Tasks: Light cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe, clean environment Therapy Support:



Providing full attention to the participant and therapist during physiotherapy and hand therapy sessions Documentation: Completing accurate shift notes and incident reports as required by NDIS Practice Standards Relationship Building: Providing emotional support and companionship What We're Looking For Essential Requirements: Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain) NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate Current First Aid CPR Certificate Valid Australian Driver's Licence and reliable, insured vehicle (for community access) Current Police Check Working with Children Check (Employee) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A caring, patient, and respectful nature Desirable: Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, or Community Services Experience supporting individuals with complex or challenging behaviours Experience with manual handling and mobility aids Why Join Bhagya Caring?
