Transport and Rail Appin, Australia DUMP TRUCK/FRONT END LOADER OPERATOR Mittagong/ Appin Location – WEEKEND WORK AVAILABLE Times: 5:45am – 4pm Rate: $37 Key Responsibilities Machine Operation Safely and efficiently operate front-end loaders to move, load, and stockpile quarried materials.
Operate dump trucks to transport materials around the site as directed.
Conduct daily pre-start checks, inspections and routine maintenance on equipment to ensure safe operation.
Load trucks and feed processing equipment with material, ensuring production flows smoothly.
Production Site Duties Assist with excavation, material handling, excavation loading, and other quarry tasks.
Support the team in meeting production targets and quality standards .
Follow site procedures and safety policies at all times.
Safety Cleanliness Maintain a clean and protected work area , reporting hazards or issues promptly.
Report any faults or mechanical issues to supervisors.
Comply with all workplace health, safety and environmental requirements .
Skills Qualifications Proven experience operating front-end loaders and dump trucks in a quarry, mining, construction or similar environment preferred.




Strong understanding of quarry operations and materials handling.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, meeting targets and quality expectations.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Commitment to safety regulatory compliance.
Relevant operator tickets/licences (e.g., Heavy Rigid (HR) or plant licences for loaders and dump trucks) are highly desirable.
