Estimator | Commercial Fit-Out Hospitality Projects Sydney CBD | Full-Time | Competitive Salary Core Talent is partnering with a highly regarded boutique contractor to recruit an experienced Estimator to join their growing pre-construction team.
This is an opportunity to join a business with an excellent reputation for delivering technically challenging commercial fit-out and hospitality projects across Sydney.
Their portfolio includes hotel refurbishments, high-end workplace interiors and heritage projects throughout the CBD and inner suburbs.
With a strong pipeline of secured work, they're seeking an Estimator who enjoys taking ownership of the pricing process and working closely with project teams to secure and successfully deliver projects.
The Role As an Estimator, you'll play a key role within the pre-construction team, managing tenders from inception through to handover.
Responsibilities include: Preparing detailed BOQs, take-offs and cost plans from drawings and specifications Managing subcontractor tender packages and evaluating returned pricing Identifying scope gaps,



buildability risks and value engineering opportunities Producing professional and competitive tender submissions Working closely with Project Managers to align pricing with methodology and programme requirements Participating in post-tender reviews and project handovers Developing and maintaining strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers About You Minimum 5 years' estimating experience within commercial construction or fit-out Strong take-off and BOQ preparation skills with the ability to price from first principles Proven experience managing trade packages through the full tender process Excellent communication skills and the ability to present pricing with confidence Ability to manage multiple tenders and work autonomously Exposure to hospitality, heritage or specialist fit-out projects would be highly regarded Experience using CostX, Cubit, Buildsoft or similar estimating software Trade qualifications or a Construction-related degree are both welcomed What's On Offer Diverse portfolio of commercial fit-out and hospitality projects Exposure to technically challenging heritage and refurbishment works Supportive, close-knit team with direct access to senior leadership Opportunity to influence and help grow the estimating function Long-term career progression within a growing business Market-competitive salary package based on experience Sydney CBD office location For a confidential discussion regarding this opportunity, please contact Fraser Malloy on ************ or ****** Consultant ****** Reference number: BH-***** Profession:ConstructionEstimator Company: Core Talent Date posted: 30th Jun, ****
