About the Role A leading global asset and fund services provider is seeking an experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join their Tax Operations team.
Reporting to the Tax Operations Manager, this role will play a key part in delivering high-quality tax reporting to institutional clients, supporting unit trust distributions, taxable income calculations, BAS returns and broader tax compliance work.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced tax professional to step into a role with client exposure, technical depth and room to mentor junior team members.
The successful candidate will work closely with teams across Fund Administration, Custody Operations, Risk and Relationship Management, helping to ensure that tax reporting infrastructure remains accurate, compliant and fit for purpose in an evolving regulatory environment.
Key Responsibilities Manage client relationships from a tax reporting perspective Maintain tax reporting infrastructure and templates Prepare and review tax calculations and reports Prepare distribution calculations, superannuation fund tax calculations and tax returns Prepare client reporting templates for review Train and mentor tax accountants on distribution calculations,
superannuation fund tax calculations and tax returns Review and maintain client tax profiles and security static data used to drive reporting and calculations Respond to and resolve client queries in a timely manner Support process control and operational risk management Contribute to projects including the testing of tax templates and processes Assist with the update of standard operating procedures Role Requirements Sound knowledge of tax accounting principles for financial instruments, trusts and superannuation funds Understanding of fund accounting, reporting and related operational risk and compliance requirements Degree qualified in Business, Accounting or a related discipline Qualified Accountant (CA or CPA) Experience using central accounting systems and preparing reconciliations Strong attention to detail and a results-focused approach Excellent written and verbal communication skills Why Apply?
