Austmin Development Pty Ltd, is a leader in the dimension stone industry, is seeking a highly motivated, safety-focused, and experiencedProduction Engineer to join our dynamic team.
This is a pivotal role responsible for ensuring the protected, efficient, and environmentally compliant operation of our project.
Key Responsibilities: Review functional statements, organisational charts, and project plans to clarify team roles, responsibilities, and reporting lines, while pinpointing duplicate or overlapping activities.
Assess workforce deployment, facility layouts, operational data, production timelines, and cost metrics to maximise the combined efficiency of personnel and equipment.
Implement work measurement programs and analyse performance samples to establish benchmarks for workforce utilisation and productivity.
Engineer mechanical equipment, components, and production systems; develop manufacturing specifications for materials, piping, material flow, capacity, and plant layouts.
Coordinate project labour, schedule the delivery of raw materials,



and oversee the mobilisation of plant and equipment to site.
Establish and maintain standards for installation, modification, quality control, testing, inspection, and maintenance—ensuring full compliance with engineering principles and safety regulations.
Perform regular performance inspections to sustain optimum output; direct ongoing maintenance activities and coordinate new design requirements, surveys, and maintenance schedules.
Required Qualifications Certifications: A minimum of 5 years of experience Strong understanding of quarry operations Must possess a valid driver's license.
