Description Quality Clinical Governance Officer | Residential Aged Care | Pilbara WA About the Role: We are currently seeking an experienced Quality and Clinical Governance co-ordinator to join a well-established Aged care provider in the Pilbara, WA This is an excellent chance for an experenced leader who is passionate about quality care, clinical excellence, compliance, education, and continuous improvement.
Youll be working collaboratively with residents, families, staff, management, and community stakeholders to oversee all things quality and clinical governance.
Your responsibilities will include: Lead clinical governance, quality improvement, and risk management to ensure safe, effective, person-centred care and continuous improvement across the organisation.
Oversee accreditation, compliance, audits, and reporting , ensuring adherence to the Aged Care Quality Standards, legislation, organisational policies, and regulatory requirements.
Manage AN-ACC oversight and funding integrity by monitoring classifications, improving clinical documentation, supporting assessments, and educating staff on best practice.
Develop and deliver education, training, and workforce capability programs , including mentoring staff, coordinating mandatory training, and supporting recruitment and clinical competency.
Provide clinical leadership and Registered Nurse support , including care coordination, resident assessments, clinical handovers, and relief coverage during workforce shortages or leave.
Promote resident, family,
and community engagement by fostering person-centred, culturally safe care, responding to feedback and complaints, and maintaining strong relationships with residents, families, and stakeholders.
About You To be successful in this role, you will have: Strong understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards and legislation Superior leadership, communication and stakeholder engagement skills Ability for mentoring, coaching and developing clinical teams Experience in care management, quality, and clinical governance within aged care Experience within residential aged care services – Essential Current Driver's Licence Current AHPRA registration Post grad in Aged care, Clinical governance, Quality Management is - desirable Certificate IV in Training and Assessment - Desirable Current First Aid and CPR Certification - Essential What we can offer Salary of $118,000-$125,000 + Super + benifits ASAP START Accommodation available in a shared house Vehicle Provided Mobile phone and laptop provided Supportive leadership team in a rewarding regional role About Us At Stream Healthcare, we work closely with some of Australia's leading private hospitals and healthcare providers, connecting experienced nurses with opportunities that align with their skills, career goals, and lifestyle.
