Rates DOE Date and Duration: 1st to 12th September Job Ref: ******* Job Summary A qualified sonographer is required for a locum placement in Merewether from 1st to 12th September.
This is a solo role with no in office radiologist, so the ability to work independently is essential.
A well-rounded general ultrasound skillset is needed, with a focus on obstetrics and musculoskeletal imaging.
The position runs Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm, with travel, accommodation, and car hire fully provided for the duration of the assignment.
Skills and experience Proven experience working independently in a sole sonographer setting, with strong clinical judgment and autonomy.
Current ASAR registration and full compliance with Australian sonography standards.
Broad general ultrasound skillset, including demonstrated proficiency in obstetric and musculoskeletal imaging.
Excellent communication and reporting skills, with the ability to manage a varied caseload without in office radiologist support.
Adaptable and confident in regional or standalone environments, with a professional and patient-focused approach.
