Join Mutual Trust's Investment Solutions team and help shape listed equities strategy selection across Australia, developed and emerging markets.
As Senior Investment Analyst, you will be responsible for evaluating managed funds and exchange-traded funds across these asset classes and supporting the ongoing maintenance and monitoring of Mutual Trust's Approved Product List.
Your research and recommendations will help inform portfolio construction and investment decisions for Mutual Trust's clients.
The role will suit an experienced investment qualified with a strong background in listed equities managed funds or manager research, sound investment judgement and a genuine passion for markets.
You will bring the analytical rigour, curiosity and ownership required to assess investment strategies in depth and communicate your conclusions clearly.
What You'll Do Assess investment managers, strategies and products across philosophy, process, people, portfolio construction, performance and risk Develop clear, well-supported recommendations for investment committees and key stakeholders Maintain, monitor and report on approved managers and strategies within Mutual Trust's Approved Product List Lead manager meetings and build strong relationships with investment managers and market participants Identify material changes, emerging risks and areas requiring further review Analyse quantitative and qualitative information to form independent, balanced investment views Contribute to asset-class research, portfolio reviews and broader investment projects Prepare high-quality research,



investment papers and internal presentations Collaborate across Investment Solutions and Mutual Trust's broader investment capability Improve research practices through the effective use of data, technology and AI-enabled tools About You You are an experienced investment professional with strong analytical capability.
You are comfortable forming independent views, testing assumptions and working through complex information to reach clear and well-reasoned conclusions.
You bring : At least five years' experience in listed equities managed funds or manager research Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Economics, Commerce or a related discipline CFA, CAIA or relevant postgraduate qualifications will be highly regarded Experience researching Australian and international listed equities strategies Experience evaluating managed funds and ETFs Strong qualitative and quantitative analysis skills, with sound knowledge of portfolio construction, performance and risk Ability to identify and assess the sustainability of key investment drivers Excellent communication, judgement and attention to detail A collaborative, accountable approach and the ability to deliver high-quality work in a dynamic environment Culture Benefits Joining Mutual Trust offers you the opportunity to enjoy: Supportive flexible work arrangements.
