YOUR NEW EMPLOYER Our client is a highly respected reputable holistic integrated construction/residential property development company with close to 20 years' success with over $1 billion projects completed + over 1.5 billion in the pipeline.
Currently going to another growth spurt, we're now looking to add to the legal team.
YOUR NEW ROLE/CAREER In this key pivotal role, reporting to a stand-out GENERAL LEGAL COUNSEL and liaising with multiple internal and external stakeholders , you will relish and delight in this diverse role.
Key focus areas include: Transactions - Advise, review, draft and negotiate legal documents to be entered into by the business across: property (including initial due diligence, land acquisitions), planning, construction, finance, corporate general commercial.
Disputes -assist in managing resolving disputes/potential claims, prepare evidence and liaise with external lawyers as required; Compliance and Corporate Governance -manage ongoing compliance requirements applicable to the business, prepare and review corporate governance policies and procedures.
General Legal - provide legal advice generally as required to internal stakeholders, review, prepare and update precedents, engage in legal research.

WHO YOU ARE We are interested in hearing from you if you: are an admitted lawyer in NSW with minimum 4 years + (more seniors welcome) post-admission experience in property law ( including property development-ESSENTIAL) PLUS preferably construction /or development finance; have solid experience in/knowledge of residential property developments, planning law, property acquisitions, property contracts subdivisions + preferably property finance; have worked in private practice and (preferably) in-house for property development/construction company; are proactive, meticulous + have strong legal technical/ drafting skills; have strong communication/interpersonal skills+ highly adaptable hands-on; have proven ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment managing multiple tasks simultaneously [essential]; are looking for a really fulfilling in-house role where you can make your mark and carve out a successful future with a reputable employer long-term.
