The ICT Strategic Communications Section (RGN) sits within the ICT Strategy and Investment Management Branch (IPB) and is a small team supporting ICT communications across the department.
About the Role RGN is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Communications Officer.
You'll be outcomes-focused, proactive and contribute to the strategic direction of your team, while delivering effectively within tight timeframes.
As Communications Officer, you're responsible for the management of communications strategies that promote and encourage the adoption of ICT and cyber security initiatives across the department.
You'll collaborate with a range of technical stakeholders and undertake research and project management to provide best practice communications advice that meets business and communications objectives.
Key Duties Work closely with Subject Matter Experts to understand projects from concept and identify the appropriate communications strategy to launch and/or support ICT projects Develop communications products such as intranet content, internal messaging, PowerPoint presentations and promotional material (with the assistance of a graphic designer) Contribute to the continuous improvement of communication processes, procedures and products Essential Attributes / Skills / Experience Sound communication skills with excellent interpersonal skills, a client focus and the highest standards of integrity and professionalism A confident decision maker,
