Business Development Manager | Senior | Commercial Transport Sector Seeking an experienced Business Development Manager or Account Manager to drive sales growth and strengthen client relationships in the commercial transport sector.
This is a full-time permanent role offering an opportunity to work within a dynamic and evolving industry.
About this Business Development Manager role Requires proven sales and account management experience within bus, coach, or commercial fleet industries.
Salary range: Approximately $100,000 - $120,000 per year.
Location: Sydney metropolitan area.
Car, Car allowance and Fuel Card Key responsibilities Identify and develop new business opportunities across bus, coach, fleet, and broader commercial transport customers.
Manage and grow existing accounts to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and business expansion.
Promote specialised transport solutions, including zero-emission vehicle options, to commercial clients.
Assess customer fleet requirements including vehicle replacement, growth plans, electric vehicle adoption, and aftersales support needs.
Prepare customised quotes, proposals, presentations, and tender submissions to win new business.
Maintain an active sales pipeline through robust lead follow-up and effective CRM usage.
Collaborate with internal teams such as sales, service, parts, finance, delivery, and aftersales to deliver robust customer outcomes.
Represent the company professionally at client locations, industry events, trade shows, and important meetings.
Provide accurate and timely reporting of pipeline status and sales activities.
