Flexible working hours, happy to work around school hours Great company with a supportive team Osborne Park location HR Advisor - Contract position, 3 - 6 months but likely to be on-going Approximately 20 hours per week | Flexible around school hours | Osborne Park We are seeking an experienced and practical HR professional to support the development of the HR foundations for an emerging mining project.
This is a varied, hands-on role focused on completing the important HR work required before recruitment and project mobilisation commence.
It would suit an HR Advisor, HR Consultant or experienced HR Coordinator looking for a flexible contract opportunity.
The hours are expected to be approximately 20 hours per week, with flexibility around school hours (if required).
The role Working closely with management and subject matter experts, you will help review, finalise and implement a range of HR documents, systems and processes.
Your responsibilities will include: Reviewing draft position descriptions with subject matter experts and preparing final versions Extracting clear KPIs, objectives and performance measures from position descriptions Developing documentation to support future performance reviews Assisting with the implementation of Employment Hero Reviewing and updating HR policies, procedures and templates Preparing and updating induction materials Reviewing and updating employment contracts and related documentation Loading policies, contracts, induction content and employee information into Employment Hero Helping establish practical,
consistent and compliant HR processes Providing general HR support as the project continues to develop About you You will be an organised and capable HR professional who is comfortable working independently and turning draft information into practical, finished HR documentation.
Ideally, you will have: Previous experience in an HR Advisor, HR Generalist, HR Consultant or senior HR Coordinator role Strong experience preparing position descriptions, policies, contracts and performance documentation A sound understanding of Australian employment legislation and contemporary HR practices Excellent written communication and document-development skills Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple pieces of work A practical, collaborative approach when working with managers and technical specialists Experience using Employment Hero or implementing an HR information system, although this is not essential Mining, resources, construction or project-development experience, which would be advantageous but is not essential What's on offer A flexible working casual/contract arrangement Approximately 20 hours per week Flexibility around school hours Interesting and varied work supporting a developing mining project The chance to help build practical HR systems and processes from the ground up Potential for the role to evolve as the project develops If you are an experienced HR professional looking for a flexible role where you can make a genuine contribution, we would be pleased to hear from you.
