General Medicine Registrar | RACP Level 1 Training Site | Coastal QLD The Chance We are currently speaking with General Medicine Registrars and Basic Physician Trainees interested in training within a well-established regional referral hospital in coastal Queensland.
The service manages a broad acute inpatient workload across adult General Medicine, supported by ICU and subspecialty collaboration.
Registrars benefit from consistent consultant supervision and structured training within a balanced regional environment.
This position is well suited to BPTs seeking recognised RACP training in a supportive, lifestyle-friendly setting.
The Hospital This is a major regional hospital of approximately 200 beds serving a growing coastal population.
The General Medicine service provides: • Acute inpatient General Medicine • ICU support on site • Emergency Department interface • Subspecialty collaboration (Cardiology, Renal, Oncology and more) • Registrar supervision within a consultant-led model The hospital holds Adjunct Training Program – Level 1 accreditation , allowing up to 12 months of Basic Physician Training , with an additional 6 months available when seconded from a Principal Training Program – Level 2 or Level 3.
