We're partnering with a global organisation that delivers innovative chemical solutions, automated equipment, and technical services to some of Australia's leading healthcare, hospitality, industrial, and commercial operations.
Due to continued growth, an opportunity exists for a Technical Field Service Representative to join their Victorian team.
This is an autonomous, customer-facing role combining technical troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, relationship management, and field service support across a diverse customer portfolio.
The Opportunity As the Technical Field Service Representative, you'll be responsible for managing customer service requirements across your allocated territory, ensuring equipment performance, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.
You'll spend your time visiting customer sites, maintaining and troubleshooting equipment, conducting testing and inspections, managing inventories, and providing technical advice to customers.
No two days are the same.
One day you may be troubleshooting equipment and resolving technical issues, while the next you could be conducting preventative maintenance, servicing customer accounts, or identifying opportunities for improvement.
Key Responsibilities Conduct scheduled service visits across customer sites Maintain and troubleshoot automated dispensing and dosing equipment Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and operational issues Perform system inspections, testing, calibration,
and preventative maintenance Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements Manage customer inventories and ordering requirements Complete service reports and maintain accurate records Build strong relationships with existing customers Provide technical support and training where required Assist with equipment installations and upgrades Identify new opportunities within existing accounts Work closely with internal sales and technical teams to deliver exceptional customer outcomes About You We're interested in speaking with candidates who enjoy working in the field and have strong technical troubleshooting skills.
You may come from backgrounds such as: Field Service Engineering Industrial Maintenance Mechanical or Electrical Trades Water Treatment Chemical Processing Food Beverage Manufacturing Industrial Equipment Maintenance Automation Controls Manufacturing Operations Technical Service Support Skills Experience Experience servicing, maintaining, or troubleshooting industrial equipment Strong mechanical and/or electrical aptitude Ability to diagnose faults and implement solutions Excellent customer service and communication skills Highly organised with strong reporting and administration skills Comfortable working autonomously across a designated territory Solid safety focus and attention to detail Competent with Microsoft Office and mobile technology Valid Australian Driver's Licence Highly Regarded Experience working with pumps, dosing systems, fluid handling equipment, valves, PLCs, controls, or automation systems Chemical, water treatment, hygiene, laundry, food processing, or manufacturing industry experience Trade qualification or technical background Why Apply?
