26th June, **** Are you a qualified Electrician looking for a long term opportunity in the renewable energy and battery storage sector?
We are currently recruiting for a permanent Service Technician to join a Battery Energy Storage System site in Liddell, NSW.
This role may suit two types of candidates: An experienced Service Technician, Maintenance Electrician or Industrial Electrician who is ready to step into a technical site-based role.
A qualified Electrician with 1 to 2 years post trade experience who is looking to be trained and developed into a Service Technician position.
You do not need to have battery storage or high voltage switching experience.
These skills are highly regarded, but training can be provided for the right person.
About the role You will be working as part of the site service team, supporting the safe and reliable operation of battery energy storage equipment and associated electrical infrastructure.
Your duties will include: Performing inspections, preventative maintenance and repairs on site equipment Fault finding and troubleshooting electrical and technical issues Working across battery storage equipment, inverters, control systems and related electrical assets Reading and interpreting drawings, manuals and technical documentation Maintaining accurate service records, maintenance logs and site documentation Supporting testing and commissioning activities when required Working safely in line with site procedures and electrical safety requirements Liaising with internal teams, contractors and site stakeholders Supporting other sites when required What we are looking for Current Electrical License 1 to 2 years post trade experience,



or more experienced Electricians and Service Technicians also encouraged to apply Robust fault finding and troubleshooting ability Maintenance, service, industrial, commercial, construction, mining, utilities or manufacturing electrical background Ability to read drawings, manuals and technical documentation Current driver's license Reliable, safety focused and interested in long term career development Willingness to learn and be trained in battery energy storage systems Highly regarded, but not essential High voltage switching experience Battery Energy Storage System experience Renewable energy experience SCADA or PLC exposure Inverter experience Power generation, utilities, substation or heavy industrial experience Experience in a service technician, maintenance technician or field service role What is on offer Permanent full time role Company vehicle provided for home to site travel Fuel card provided Bonus structure Monday to Friday roster Long term stable opportunity Training and development in the growing renewable energy sector Opportunity to move into battery energy storage with a leading organization Clear pathway for a qualified Electrician to develop into a Service Technician role Location The role is based at Liddell in the Hunter Valley region.
