The Role Reporting to the Manager, Communications and Marketing, this is a varied and hands-on role combining event management, stakeholder engagement and communications.
You'll take ownership of planning and delivering a diverse calendar of events, from webinars and online workshops through to conferences, industry forums and major exhibitions.
Alongside event delivery, you'll develop the communications and marketing that promote each initiative, ensuring strong engagement before, during and after every event.
From coordinating venues, catering and registrations to managing exhibition booths, merchandise, suppliers and promotional campaigns, you'll play a key role in delivering seamless experiences for stakeholders across Australia.
The Opportunity Coordinate and deliver conferences, workshops, webinars and stakeholder events from planning through to execution Manage end-to-end event logistics including venues, catering, registrations, suppliers and event schedules Coordinate exhibition and conference attendance, including expo booth design, merchandise, promotional collateral and supplier management Work closely with designers,



exhibition fit-out providers and external vendors to deliver engaging event experiences Develop and deliver marketing and communication campaigns to promote events and maximise attendance Create engaging content across email campaigns, social media, websites, newsletters and promotional materials Produce high-quality written communications including articles, news stories, event collateral and stakeholder updates Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, universities, research organisations and industry partners Support online event delivery using webinar and virtual event platforms Monitor event success, engagement metrics and communication performance, providing insights for continuous improvement Contribute to broader communications, engagement and brand initiatives across the organisation About You You're an organised and proactive communications or events professional who enjoys bringing people together through well-executed events and engaging communications.
You'll be equally comfortable managing event logistics behind the scenes as you are creating compelling content to promote them.
With exceptional attention to detail, you thrive on juggling multiple projects and ensuring every detail is covered.
You'll also bring: Experience coordinating conferences, events, workshops, exhibitions or engagement programs Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously Experience coordinating venues, catering, registrations, suppliers and event logistics Exposure to trade shows or exhibitions, including booth coordination, promotional merchandise and external vendor management Excellent written communication skills with experience developing marketing and promotional content Experience delivering communications across websites, email marketing, social media and digital channels Solid stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills Experience supporting online events and webinars is highly regarded Experience within higher education, research, membership organisations or the not-for-profit sector will be well regarded Experience with CMS,



CRM or email marketing platforms is advantageous Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, with Adobe Creative Suite experience desirable Why Apply?
