PRIMARY TEACHERS – YEAR 1 YEAR 5 (TERM 3 COVER) Northern suburbs of Melbourne VIC **** FULL-TIME Fixed term contract August **** start Prospero Teaching Australia is partnering with a welcoming and diverse primary school in Melbourne's northern suburbs to appoint two dedicated Primary Teachers for Term 3 classroom cover .
The school is seeking two enthusiastic educators to support teaching and learning across Year 1 and Year 5 , commencing at the beginning of August through to the end of Term 3.
ABOUT THE ROLES These positions will provide classroom continuity during planned staff leave and require teachers who are confident stepping into established classrooms and maintaining strong routines, engagement, and learning progress.
YEAR 1 TEACHER – TERM 3 COVER Deliver engaging, play-based and structured literacy and numeracy programs Support early learners with foundational skill development Maintain robust classroom routines and positive behaviour expectations Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment YEAR 5 TEACHER – TERM 3 COVER Deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned teaching across core learning areas Support students through upper primary transition and increasing independence Use assessment data to guide teaching and learning Encourage critical thinking, collaboration, and student voice ABOUT THE SCHOOL COMMUNITY The school is located in Melbourne's northern suburbs within the Fawkner area and serves a highly diverse and multicultural community.
