Sunrise clinics span 9 remote communities to the east of Katherine, serving a population of around 3,800, with many of residents facing chronic illnesses that necessitate early detection and comprehensive care.

As a General Practitioner with Sunrise, you will deliver high-quality, culturally protected primary healthcare as part of a multidisciplinary team led by the Senior Medical Officer.

What do you need to apply?
Specialist General Practitioner registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Fellowship with RACGP or ACCRM Current unrestricted manual Drivers Licence Current First Aid Certificate Non adverse National Criminal History Check Current OCHRE clearance Understanding and commitment to the principles of Aboriginal community control of primary health care delivery Respect for Aboriginal culture and a willingness to listen, learn and to participate in cross-cultural awareness activities.

Sunrise also have a GP locum opportunity available that lets you experience "a day in the life" of a GP in the Big Rivers community for a short period of time, before committing to a fulltime placement.
