A N Enterprises (Australia) Pty Ltd t/a Pinnacle Coachlines, is currently seeking qualified and experienced Diesel Motor Mechanics to join its growing maintenance team.
Duties include: Diagnose, inspect, service and repair diesel engines, transmissions, braking, steering, suspension and other mechanical systems.
Perform scheduled servicing, preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs on diesel-powered coaches and commercial vehicles.
Inspect, test and diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment and manufacturer specifications.
Repair or replace worn, damaged or defective mechanical and electrical components.
Carry out routine vehicle inspections and rectify identified defects.
Perform A, B and annual vehicle servicing in accordance with manufacturer requirements and maintenance schedules.
Conduct electrical fault-finding and repairs on vehicle lighting, safety systems, PA systems and associated electrical components.
Read and interpret workshop manuals, wiring diagrams and technical specifications.
Complete maintenance records,



repair reports and service documentation in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
Operate and road test vehicles to verify repairs and ensure safe operating performance.
Maintain workshop tools, equipment and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
Ensure all work is completed in accordance with workplace health and safety requirements and applicable transport regulations.
Skills Experience Required: Relevant trade qualification as a Diesel Motor Mechanic or equivalent.
At least 3 years of relevant experience.
Strong diagnostic, fault-finding and mechanical repair skills.
Experience using diagnostic equipment and interpreting technical manuals.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
