Fleet Controller - Ports Transport Join a fast-paced transport operation where no two days are the same!
Skillforce Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Fleet Controller to coordinate container transport operations servicing the WA ports.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong transport industry knowledge who thrives in a busy, customer-focused environment.
About the Role: As a Fleet Controller, you will be responsible for the daily coordination of truck movements between the ports, depots, warehouses and customer sites.
You'll work closely with drivers, customers and the operations team to ensure freight is delivered safely, efficiently and on time.
Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and dispatch container and general freight movements Allocate work to drivers and monitor fleet utilisation Schedule deliveries, collections and port runs Liaise with customers,



drivers and port operations regarding schedules and delays Monitor driver compliance with fatigue management and transport regulations Track vehicle movements and respond to operational issues in real time Maintain accurate transport records and system updates Ensure exceptional customer service while meeting delivery deadlines To be successful in this role, you will have: Previous experience as a Fleet Controller, Allocator or Transport Scheduler Experience within container transport, port logistics or heavy haulage (highly regarded) Strong understanding of Fremantle Port operations and container logistics Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities High level of computer literacy and experience with transport management systems Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Current Australian working rights What's on Offer: Competitive salary based on experience Full-time, permanent opportunity Supportive and collaborative team environment Immediate start available Chance to grow within a well-established transport operation Apply Now If you're an organised transport professional with experience coordinating trucks and port logistics, we'd love to hear from you.
