Contract Chance - ***** months with opportunity to extend Senior Project Engineer x2 -Mining An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join a major international mining study.
This is a ***** month contract with the potential for extension, offering an immediate start and the opportunity to contribute to a significant project from the Brisbane CBD office.
Key Responsibilities Oversee technical delivery of engineering projects from initiation through completion, supporting coordination and execution.
Conduct monthly schedule and budget reviews to track progress, risks, and performance.
Perform technical assurance and peer reviews to maintain engineering quality and compliance.
Manage permitting activities and stakeholder tracking to support approvals and project delivery.
Provide integrated project reporting to the DFS Steering Committee, highlighting progress, risks, and key decisions.




Coordinate formal interfaces across Mining, Process, Infrastructure, CAPEX/OPEX, and Financial Evaluation disciplines.
Qualifications Experience Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
5+ years' experience in engineering project delivery with technical leadership.
Project Management certification (PMI, AIPM, or equivalent) – Desirable.
Engineers Australia membership – Desirable.
RPEQ registration – Desirable.
AusIMM membership – Desirable.
