NET | React Gold Coast | Hybrid (3 days in the office) We're partnering with an established Australian technology business that's investing heavily in modern cloud architecture, AI-assisted software engineering and the continued evolution of its customer-facing platforms.
We're looking for a Technical Lead who enjoys staying hands-on while providing technical leadership across a high-performing engineering team.
This is a genuine technical leadership position where you'll influence architecture, mentor developers and help shape engineering standards, while continuing to build software yourself.
What you'll be doing Providing day-to-day technical leadership across the software engineering team.
Designing, building and maintaining enterprise Azure infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code.
Developing modern full-stack applications using .
NET, React and TypeScript.
Building secure REST APIs and integrating with internal and third-party platforms.
Driving the adoption of AI-assisted engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude Code.
Working closely with architecture and engineering leadership to shape technical direction.
Leading code reviews and mentoring engineers to deliver high-quality, secure and maintainable software.
Championing engineering best practices across cloud, DevOps, scalability and security.




What we're looking for Proven experience as a Technical Lead or senior hands-on engineering leader.
Strong commercial experience designing and operating enterprise Azure environments.
Excellent C#/.
NET development skills.
Experience building modern applications using React and TypeScript.
Strong understanding of REST APIs, SQL and microservices architecture.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Bicep, Terraform or similar).
Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or modern CI/CD tooling.
Exposure to AI-assisted software engineering tools in a commercial environment.
Strong communication skills and experience mentoring engineers.
Nice to have AWS experience.
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
Azure certifications.
Experience working within highly available, customer-facing digital platforms.
