About the Opportunity: An established electrical contractor is seeking an experienced Purchasing Officer to join its growing team based in Brisbane.
This is a hands-on office-based role supporting multiple projects by ensuring materials, subcontractors and suppliers are coordinated efficiently to keep project delivery on track.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has strong purchasing and procurement experience, and takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly.
About the Role Reporting into the leadership team, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process across multiple projects, ensuring materials and subcontractor requirements are delivered on time and within project timeframes.
You will work closely with project teams, suppliers and subcontractors to maintain purchasing schedules, coordinate deliveries and support project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities Process daily material orders based on site requests Source materials from suppliers and negotiate pricing where required Coordinate delivery schedules across multiple projects Prepare,



issue and manage supplier and subcontractor agreements Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors Monitor order status and proactively resolve supply issues Ensure purchasing records and documentation are accurate and up to date Liaise with project teams to ensure procurement deadlines are met Identify opportunities to improve purchasing processes and efficiencies About You To be successful in this role, you will have Previous experience in a Purchasing, Procurement or Supply Officer role Experience ordering materials for construction, infrastructure or electrical projects Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities Experience coordinating multiple suppliers and delivery schedules Excellent communication and relationship management skills A proactive and self-sufficient approach to your work High attention to detail and strong administrative skills Highly Regarded Experience within the electrical industry Knowledge of electrical materials and suppliers Experience preparing supplier and subcontractor agreements Previous experience working for an electrical wholesaler or electrical supplier What's on Offer Permanent full-time position Reliable and growing business with a strong project pipeline Supportive and collaborative team environment Opportunity to play a key role across multiple projects Office-based role located in Lytton If this looks of interest, please apply now or contact Jack Waldock on ************ or ******
