Located in Beecroft NSW **** , Macchina Espresso is a well-established café offering quality food and coffee in a welcoming environment.
Macchina Espresso is currently seeking a Chef to become part of their team.
Key Responsibilities: • Preparing, cooking and presenting a variety of dishes in accordance with established recipes and quality standards.
• Planning and assisting with the development of menus while maintaining consistency, quality and presentation.
• Monitoring the quality of dishes throughout preparation and service.
• Managing food preparation, portion control and presentation to ensure high standards are consistently maintained.
• Ensuring ingredients and food products are stored and handled correctly in accordance with food safety requirements.
• Assisting with stock control, ordering supplies and monitoring inventory levels.
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe kitchen environment in accordance with food hygiene and workplace safety requirements.




• Coordinating with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure efficient and timely service.
• Assisting with the training and supervision of kitchen staff where required.
• Minimising food waste and contributing to productive kitchen operations.
About you: • At least one year of relevant experience as a Chef or in a similar commercial kitchen role.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and kitchen operations.
• Good understanding of food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Solid organisational and time management skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Positive communication and interpersonal skills.
Job Type: Permanent/Full-time Salary: $76,000 - $86,000 per annum
