Above award wages Full time Apprenticeship - Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade (MEM*****) Work in a brand‐new, purpose‐built workshop Exposure to modern CNC lathes and/or mills Be part of a national organisation with long‐term career opportunities Structured mentoring and support through to trade completion ?️ What you'll be doing: Assisting with set‐up, programming, and operation of CNC lathes and/or milling machines Manufacturing high‐precision components Performing routine machine maintenance and basic fault‐finding Overhauling gearboxes, conveyors, pumps and driveshafts Dismantling, cleaning, measuring, and assessing parts Supporting small machining jobs and general workshop activities Workshop upkeep and occasional local deliveries ✅ What we're looking for:



This role is ideal for a current Year 12 student ready to start an Apprenticeship in January ****.
If you are looking to get a head start, you also have the flexibility to begin working immediately as a Trade Assistant.
Previous work experieence or exposure to CNC machining (lathes and/or mills) Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Reliable, punctual, and safety‐focused Sound computer literacy Australian citizen or permanent resident ? Training Support: You'll be employed by MRAEL and supported by a dedicated Apprentice Employment Consultant , providing: Ongoing mentoring and performance support Coordination of all off‐the‐job training Regular check‐ins to support your progress through to completion ?
