Location: Pilbara, WA (Site Based) Rate: Up to $120 per hour (dependent on experience) Type: Contract Duration: 12-month contract About the Role We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Lead (SCADA Controls) to support the commissioning of major renewable energy and transmission infrastructure projects.
Working across substations, solar farms, wind farms, battery energy storage systems, and power management systems, you will play a key role in ensuring safe and successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities • Lead commissioning activities for SCADA and control systems • Configure and troubleshoot RTUs and SCADA applications • Develop commissioning plans, procedures, and test documentation • Conduct FAT, SAT, and commissioning activities • Support integration of renewable energy and substation systems • Coordinate with engineering, operations, technology, and commissioning teams • Provide technical troubleshooting and system optimisation support • Update engineering documentation and as-built records • Ensure quality, compliance, and commissioning outcomes are achieved Mandatory Requirements • Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Control Systems, Mechatronics Engineering, or relevant trade qualification • 5+ years' experience in control systems within utilities or power generation • Experience with SCADA, RTU, HMI,
