An established Western Australian iron ore operation is seeking an experienced Contract Mine Surveyor to provide short-term site coverage during September.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled survey professional to join a stable production environment and support ongoing mining activities across an established operation.
Required: Previous experience working as a Mine Surveyor within an operating mine workplace Current Remote Pilot Licence (RePL)



with practical drone survey experience Strong experience using Agisoft for photogrammetry processing Proficient with Trimble survey equipment Experience using Deswik software Strong understanding of open pit mining survey practices Ability to work autonomously and manage priorities in a production-focused environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Position Duties: Provide day-to-day mine surveying support to operational mining teams Complete production, pit, and stockpile surveys Conduct drone-based survey activities and process aerial data Support volume calculations, reconciliation, and reporting requirements Maintain accurate survey data and ensure quality control of survey outputs Work closely with mining, geology, and technical services teams Assist with survey deliverables using industry-standard software and equipment Experience 3–5 years Current Status OPEN Duration Short contract Duty Roster FIFO 8:6
