THE OPPORTUNITY We are currently looking for experienced Electrician to support our PYBAR Workshop located in Orange, NSW.
Working autonomously as well as part of a team and ensuring a high quality of work, you expand your experience and knowledge of underground Electrical maintenance.
This position will see you working a Monday – Friday roster in a full-time position with some site travel required on a as needed basis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for: Performing planned and breakdown maintenance on underground mining equipment.
Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical faults on mobile and fixed plant equipment.
Inspecting, testing and repairing electrical systems to ensure equipment reliability and compliance.
Conducting preventative maintenance to minimise downtime and maximise equipment availability.
Maintaining accurate service records, maintenance reports and inspection documentation.
Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with site procedures, statutory requirements and company policies.
Working collaboratively with operations and maintenance teams to achieve production targets.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED Trade Certificate in Electrical or similar.
NSW Electrical Supervisors Licence.
Minimum of two (2) years' experience as an underground or mine site electrician.
Familiar with ****v Mining equipment such as drill rigs, pumps, fans and starters Estimating time and materials required to complete jobs Managing and ordering parts and materials.
Completing equipment rebuilds, repairs and upgrades.
Ability to travel to site to provide support, maintenance, and electrical work.
Knowledge of AS**** standard and NSW Mining electrical regulations.
Experience using CMMS.
A strong focus on safety Hold a current Australian Drivers License Hold or be willing to obtain a current National Police Clearance.
