WAM Australia is now looking for an experienced Sales Representative to join their team.
The right candidate will be responsible for: Identifying and researching potential commercial customers within relevant industries through market research, business directories, referrals and industry databases.
Maintaining current knowledge of the company's industrial equipment, competitor products, technological developments and industry trends to provide informed product recommendations.
Meeting with existing and prospective customers to identify business opportunities, strengthen client relationships and promote the company's industrial product range.
Evaluating customers' operational requirements and recommending suitable equipment and technical solutions that best meet their application and production needs.
Keeping track of customer requirements, market developments and competitor activities, and communicating relevant information and sales opportunities to management.
Preparing quotations, discussing pricing and commercial terms with customers, finalising sales agreements and accurately processing customer orders.




Coordinating the supply of products and liaising with internal teams to facilitate equipment delivery, installation requirements and associated services.
Providing regular updates to management regarding sales performance, customer feedback, product demand and emerging market opportunities.
Maintaining ongoing communication with customers after purchase to ensure satisfaction, address concerns and support long-term business relationships.
Preparing sales documentation and maintaining accurate records of customer interactions, quotations, sales activities and business-related expenses.
About you: At least 1 year of experience as a Sales Representative; Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
Strong technical aptitude and the ability to understand, interpret and clearly explain industrial equipment, product specifications and technical solutions to customers.
Well-developed sales, negotiation and commercial skills with the ability to prepare quotations, negotiate pricing and secure mutually beneficial outcomes.
Customer-focused approach with robust problem-solving skills and the ability to identify client requirements, recommend appropriate solutions and provide effective after-sales support.
Job type: Permanent/full-time Salary: $79,000 - $85,000
