Civil Leading Hand (C6 Crane) Hartwood Regulator Upgrade Project | Hartwood, NSW $*****/hr + Overtime Penalties + $100/Night LAFH Allowance | 50 Hours per Week | Immediate Start Lead from the Front on a Major Water Infrastructure Project Mumpara Industries is seeking an experienced Civil Leading Hand to join the Hartwood Regulator Upgrade Project , a major water infrastructure project being delivered near Hartwood, NSW .
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll coordinate a small civil crew while remaining actively involved in day-to-day construction activities.
We're looking for someone who leads by example, is safety focused, and enjoys working alongside their team to deliver high-quality civil infrastructure.
About the Role Reporting to the Site Supervisor, your responsibilities will include: Leading and mentoring a small civil construction crew.
Coordinating daily work activities to achieve programme and production targets.
Operating a C6 Slewing Mobile Crane for lifting and placement activities.
Performing Dogman duties and coordinating protected lifting operations.
Operating excavators and other civil plant where appropriately licensed.
Supporting concrete, formwork, reinforcement and pipe installation crews.
Assisting with drainage, earthworks, underground services and general civil construction.
Conducting daily pre-start meetings and promoting a strong safety culture.
Reading construction drawings and ensuring works are completed to specification.
Coordinating subcontractors, plant and materials across multiple work fronts.
Essential Requirements To be considered, you will possess: Demonstrated experience as a Civil Leading Hand or Senior Civil Operator.
Current C6 Slewing Mobile Crane High Risk Work Licence (Essential).




Current Dogman (DG) High Risk Work Licence (Essential).
Construction White Card.
Current Driver Licence.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Experience delivering major civil or water infrastructure projects.
A proactive, hands-on approach to leadership.
Highly Regarded The following qualifications will be highly regarded: Excavator VOC/Ticket HR or HC Truck Licence Basic or Intermediate Rigging Loader, Roller or Skid Steer Tickets Working at Heights Confined Space Traffic Control First Aid Experience working on regulator structures, pipelines, bridges, water infrastructure or major civil construction projects.
