Early Childhood Teacher | Journey Early Learning North Mackay About the Role You will lead our Kindergarten program, creating engaging, play-based learning experiences that foster children's confidence, curiosity, and readiness for school.
Working alongside a supportive Centre Manager and leadership team, you'll be empowered to focus on delivering high-quality educational outcomes while building meaningful relationships with children and families.
Key Responsibilities Deliver a high-quality Kindergarten program aligned to the EYLF Create engaging, play-based learning environments Observe, document, and reflect on children's learning Build strong relationships with children, families, and the community Contribute to a collaborative, supportive team culture Maintain high standards of safety and compliance About You ACECQA-approved ECT qualification (Bachelor, Master or Grad Dip) Must have completed National Child Safety Training Experience in a Kindergarten setting (preferred) Solid knowledge of EYLF and NQS Warm, relationship-focused approach to teaching Passion for creating meaningful learning experiences Current First Aid, Asthma Anaphylaxis certifications Growth Development at Journey At Journey, growth is intentional and supported.
