Aged Care Registered Nurse Location : Port Macquarie Position Type : Permanent Full-Time Shift Type : PM and Night Shifts About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Aged Care Registered Nurse (RN) for permanent full-time position.
This role is ideal for someone with a minimum of 1 year of experience in aged care, who has worked independently during PM or Night Shifts.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, provide compassionate care to residents, and ensure clinical excellence in all aspects of nursing care.
As an RN in this position, you'll be responsible for overseeing the health and well-being of our residents, ensuring they receive the highest standard of care in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:



Provide comprehensive clinical care to residents during PM and Night Shifts Work autonomously while being supported by a professional and friendly team Administer medications and treatments as prescribed Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with the Aged Care Standards Provide leadership and support to care staff and other team members Communicate effectively with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams Key Selection Criteria: Minimum of 1 years' experience in aged care (Night shift experience is essential) Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse Strong clinical skills, including the ability to work independently on PM and Night Shifts Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively within a team A passion for providing high-quality care to older adults Evidence of COVID-19 and influenza vaccinations.
