The Chance Due to continued growth, my client is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant / Assistant Manager to join their close-knit team.
Working alongside the Directors and Tax Manager, you'll manage your own client portfolio while overseeing work prepared by the firm's offshore accounting team.
Your responsibilities will include: Managing your own client base Reviewing offshore accounting work Preparing and reviewing financial statements Company tax returns Tax planning Division 7A Business restructures Advisory work Client relationship management Mentoring junior accountants Working with film production incentive matters Approximately 70% of the role is taxation and compliance, with the remaining work involving advisory, business structuring and project-based consulting.

What We're Looking For We're seeking an accountant who has: Australian Public Practice experience Strong company taxation knowledge Experience preparing and reviewing financial statements Strong understanding of Division 7A Tax reconciliation experience The ability to independently manage client work Excellent communication skills A desire to build long-term client relationships Experience within the entertainment industry would be advantageous but certainly isn't essential.
