About the Roles We are looking for both site and workshop Boilermakers to join the team of some of our clients in a variety of areas from North Brisbane through to the ipswich region.
Multiple roles available with different responsibilities and welding styles.
Job Details Pay rates: Between $45-$60 p/h + Overtime, Penalties Shifts: Location dependant and shift time dependant Jobs: Current Construction plant upgrades, trailer builds, screen operations Positions: Contract/Temp for 6 months full time opportunity on offer Location: North Brisbane,



Brisbane and Ipswich Regions What you'll be doing Fitting welding of small and large bore pipework Reading and working from isometric drawings work packs (incl. weld traceability) Structural steel fabrication, assembly installation Bolt-up flange management All different styles of welding dependant on job location Working safely, independently and as part of a team What we're looking for Certificate III in Engineering (Boilermaker / Welder) Proficiency in GTAW, SMAW, FCAW GMAW (STT) welding Must pass 6G pipe weld tests (GTAW/SMAW – 100% X-Ray) Current tickets: White Card, Working at Heights, Confined Space (for site roles) Strong safety focus solid work ethic Driver's Licence and ability to pass pre-employment medical D A screening How to Apply If you meet the above requirements and are ready for a new challenge, click APPLY NOW to join Smith Co Recruitment and take your career to the next level.
